Victim is identified as Demario Q. Thomas (deceased) DOB 08-08-1992

The other victim's name will not be released.

The critically injured victim, a 28 year old man, died of his injuries. A 25 year old woman suffered non-life threatening injuries.

The two victims were with a few other people talking outside by the street in the 1300 block of 13th Avenue South. Shortly after 11:30 p.m. someone fired at the group from behind a house across the street.

At 11:36 p.m., St. Petersburg Police responded to a shooting were two people were injured at 13th Ave. S. and 13th St. S.

One victim sustained life-threatening injuries. The second victim is in stable condition.

It is very early in the investigation and we don't have any other details at this time. If any media are headed there, PIO Fernandez is enroute to 14th Ave and 14th St. S.
