Pedestrian Fatality

A 2017 Acura SUV, driven by Patricia Ann Holland (DOB 03/17/1960) was traveling Eastbound in the 10000 block of Roosevelt Blvd N, when Jerry Lee Hardison (DOB 11/22/1957) walked into the roadway and in front of Holland's SUV. The crash happened near the intersection of Roosevelt Bvld.N & MLK Jr. N.

Hardison was pronounced dead at scene by SPPD Fire Rescue.

Holland was not injured and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

At about 7:45 p.m., a man (adult) attempted to cross Roosevelt Blvd near MLK N., and was struck by an SUV.

The victim died of his injuries. The driver stopped and is cooperating with investigators.

Roosevelt Blvd is shut down in both directions between 4th St N. and MLK St. N. for the investigation.
