At 4 p.m., Tuesday, Dec. 7, 2021, a group of volunteers will deliver to Police Headquarters, 1301 1st Avenue North, more than 100 bicycles to go to local kids for the holidays.

The group will be led by Alex DeJesus, a local resident who bought one bicycle for an officer to give to a needy child in 2019 and has been giving ever since. His friends joined his charitable efforts and this year they will be donating more than 100 bikes with helmets and bike locks.

Reporters and photographers who would like to attend the bicycle delivery should be in the Police Headquarters Lobby at 1301 1st Ave. N. by 3:45 p.m. Tuesday.
