The victim in the fatal pedestrian crash investigation that happened on September 11, 2020 near the intersection of 2nd Ave. N and 34th St. N has been identified as Kenneth Oneil (DOB 10/09/1968).

He was crossing 34th Street when a red Land Rover SUV, driven by Mack Anderson, struck him.

Anderson stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigators. At this time, no charges have been filed in the case.

SPPD is investigating a fatal crash between a vehicle and a pedestrian near the intersection of 2nd Ave. N and 34th St. N.

34th St. N between 1st and 5th Ave. N is closed in both directions.

The victim has not been identified, but he is believed to be a man in his 50's.
