Woman Fatally Shot

Arrest in 2020 Homicide

Today, Tyree Lamons Bell, DOB 10-23-95, was arrested for shooting to death Arnieceia Milton (DOB 02/05/1997) on November 15th, 2020.

Investigators say Bell got into an altercation with Arnieceia Milton's boyfriend at another location earlier that evening. Later, when Milton and her boyfriend were at an outside gathering on 16th Street South, Bell drove by and fired shots at them from a vehicle, killing Arnieceia Milton. Investigators believe the mother of two was a bystander and not involved in the argument.

Bell was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshals Service on an outstanding warrant. He faces a charge of 1st degree murder.

Detectives are searching for a suspect in the shooting death Arnieceia Milton, early Sunday morning in the 1600 block of 16th Street South.

The suspect is Tyree Lamons Bell, DOB 10-23-95. His photo is attached.

Investigators say Bell got into an altercation with Arnieceia Milton's boyfriend at another location earlier that evening. Later, when they were on 16th Street South at an outside gathering, Bell drove by and fired shots at them from a vehicle.

Please see the attachment for an additional photo of the victim, Arnieceia Milton. Although she is pregnant in the photo, please note that the child she was carrying is now 3 months old. Milton was not pregnant at the time of the shooting.

Update on 11-15-20 at 09:07 a.m.

Detectives says crowd had gathered in the 1600 block of 16th St., and they believe an argument between two people led to shots being fired in front of the Dread Pros & More salon around 1:30am.

The female victim who was pronounced dead at Bayfront Health St. Petersburg has been identified as Arnieceia Milton (DOB 02/05/1997).

Investigators believe the mother of two was an innocent bystander and was not involved in the argument.

We are appealing to everyone who was present and/or witnessed the shooting, to please come forward and help bring justice to those responsible for the shooting.

The St. Petersburg Police Department is investigating a fatal shooting in the 1600 block of 16th St. S.

At least one person was transported to the hospital, and pronounced dead.
