Bicyclist Seriously Injured

SPPD investigators are looking for a dark gray or black Nissan Altima that hit a bicyclist in the northbound lanes of 30th Avenue South at Martin Luther King Street South around 9:35am this morning.

At the time of the crash, the bicyclist was trying to cross the street. The victim suffered serious injuries and was transported to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg Hospital.

The Nissan Altima fled after the crash. We believe the car has damage on the left-hand side and the left part of the front bumper.
