On May 9 at 2:27pm, SPPD received a call concerning a a child shot at 3738 18th Terr. S.

When officers arrived they found a five-year-old boy suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to All Children’s Hospital where unfortunately he succumbed to his injuries.

Investigators are looking into the circumstances that lead to the shooting.
