St. Petersburg Police detectives are investigating a bank robbery that happened at 5858 Central Ave and 1st Ave S, Tuesday at about 4:15 p.m.

A masked man entered The American Momentum Bank, showed his gun and demanded money. He got away with an undisclosed amount of money. No one in the bank was injured.

The suspect is described as being 6 ft tall and last seen wearing a gray hoodie.

Our detectives do not believe the man is connected to other bank robberies in the area.
