The St. Petersburg Police Department arrested Sean Peter Brewer (DOB 10/15/1987) of Clearwater, on June 30th, 2020, for using his cellphone and car to try and have sex with a 15-year-old girl. The teenager he thought he was communicating with was in fact an undercover SPPD detective.

Brewer drove to the 4100 block of 16th Street North to meet “the girl”, after he repeatedly asked “her” for sex. Officers arrested him when he arrived.

He faces the following charges:
1.Luring or enticing a child
2.Traveling to meet a minor
3. Unlawful use of a two-way communication device.
