Just after 5am on January 3rd, we received a call about a car that crashed into a home located at 2416 57th St N. Officers learned that a 14-year-old suspect stole a family friend's car, lost control of it and crashed into the house.

The suspect and one juvenile passenger were transported to All Children's Hospital. The suspect suffered non-life threatening injuries and the passenger had a few cuts and bruises

No one was inside the house at the time of the crash. The home had some exterior impact but did not sustain any structural damage.

The investigation into the crash is ongoing and charges are pending.
