1. Officer Matthew Enhoffer was arrested on federal charges for the receipt, possession, distribution of child pornography on September 19, 2019.
Enhoffer resigned from the St. Petersburg Police Department on Friday, September 20. Today, Tuesday, September 24, Chief Holloway convened a Command Review Board and sustained the complaint of Conviction/Guilt of a Felony, (which would have resulted in termination). The Board findings will be forwarded to the FDLE Commission for police officer certification standards.
2. Officer Iraj Karkevandian was arrested by the Hillsborough Sheriff’s Office on December 19, 2018, and suspended without pay. Today, Tuesday, September 24, in the Thirteenth Judicial Circuit Court in Hillsborough County, Karkevandian pleaded guilty to a 3rd degree felony charge of aggravated stalking.
This afternoon, Chief Holloway terminated Karkevandian’s employment with the St. Petersburg Police Department. The Chief’s decision will be forwarded to the FDLE Commission for police officer certification standards.
