St. Petersburg Police arrested a 16-year-old student at Gibbs High School for saying in class that he would shoot up the school.

He is charged with making a false report of a bomb/firearm to conduct bodily harm (felony).

The St. Petersburg Police Department takes all school threats very seriously for the safety of our students. Threatening comments/posts will always be investigated.
