Several members of the St. Petersburg Police SWAT Team competed at the International SWAT Round-Up, a competition of elite SWAT Teams from around the world.

After a hard week of competition, the SPPD SWAT Team came in 18th among 55 teams in the overall competition, and was the top ranking Team for all of Pinellas County! Photo attached,( one undercover officer's face was covered).

Also Sergeant Brian Burton, who led the team, took second place in the Tactical Rifle Challenge event.

The competition consisted of five different events testing marksmanship skills, physical stamina and decision making ability.
