Kamion Kemarley Spencer was arrested today (May 24, 2019) and charged with manslaughter in the shooting death of his pregnant wife, Joi Spencer.

Joi Spencer was seven months pregnant when her husband shot her around 10:40 this morning at their home.

At last check, the baby was in critical condition at All Children's Hospital.

The investigation into the shooting continues.

At 10:40am today (05/24/2019) we were notified that a pregnant woman had been shot at 4308 Trout Dr. SE. Joi Nicole Spencer (DOB 10/16/1982) was transported to Bayfront Health Hospital where she was pronounced dead. The infant was delivered and is in critical condition at All Children's Hospital.

An investigation into the shooting is underway and no other details are available at this time.
