This morning at about 4:30, the St. Petersburg Police Department arrested Ted Benjamin Grossman (DOB 02/17/1983), 4423 W Culbreath Ave., Tampa, for two attempted armed robberies.

He is also a suspect in nine other armed robbery cases in St. Petersburg and Tampa, since Friday, March 15th. Charges are pending. Grossman entered the businesses, pointed a gun at the clerks and demanded cash. No shots were fired in any of the cases.

St. Petersburg and Tampa detectives worked closely in this investigation to bring this spree to an end.
