At 5:30p.m., police were called to the scene of a man shot in the 2000 block of Seminole Blvd South. He was pronounced dead at the hospital.

Preliminary information is that it occurred while he was in an empty lot near a home at that location.

No other details are available. Detectives are interviewing witnesses and are in the early stages of this investigation.
