Just before 10:30 p.m., an officer attempted a traffic stop on a Mercedes SUV at 9th Avenue South and 18th Street South.

The SUV fled from the officer and crashed into a parked unoccupied car, and flipped, a few blocks away at Langdon Ave South and Jordan Park Street South.

The passenger, Tezra Alston, DOB 5-18-86, of St. Petersburg, was ejected. She is hospitalized with life-threatening injuries.

The driver, Michelle Gibson, DOB 4-29-71, of St. Petersburg, was arrested for DUI crash with serious injuries, and fleeing and eluding.

The SUV is registered to Alston, but both women had revoked licenses.
