Thanks to tips we received through our school resource officers and our tip line, Deonte Hall (B/M 06/15/2001) was arrested and charged with a felony today for written threats to conduct a mass shooting/act of terrorism (F.S. 836.10) at his Pinellas Park home.
He posted on Facebook that he would “shoot up” Gibbs High School if someone “liked” his post. He also had several posts of him and firearms.
Additionally, Deonte violated is the terms of his probation, and will be charged accordingly.

The St. Petersburg Police Department takes these and any other threats seriously, and we encourage anyone who comes across any threatening message to contact us immediately.
