Thursday at approximately 2:15 p.m., a 2015 blue Ford Flex, driven by Marisa Williams (01/18/1959) was driving northbound on 31st Street North. A 2009 Harley Davidson, driven by Christopher Sierra (12/21/1973), was driving southbound on 31st Street North.

Williams attempted to make a left hand turn onto 3rd Avenue North and turned into Sierra who swerved to avoid the collision. Sierra was thrown from his motorcycle by the impact and was not wearing a helmet.

Williams was transported from the scene to St. Anthonys Hospital for minor injuries. Sierra was transported from the scene to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg where he was later pronounced deceased.
