A motorcyclist suffered serious injuries in a crash at 12:30 a.m., at 18th Avenue South and 16th Street South. A black 1998 Honda motorcycle, driven by Bruzenski M. Wilson (03/15/1980), was traveling southbound on 16th Street South, when it ran a red light at 18th Ave. South.

It struck a silver 2007 Nissan Altima, driven by Verquashia R. Johnson (06/29/1992), that was traveling westbound on 18th Avenue South.

Wilson was transported from the scene to Bayfront Health St. Petersburg with life threatening injuries.

St. Petersburg Police is investigating.
