At 6:15pm, a northbound pickup truck struck a man who was crossing 34th st N. in a wheelchair.

The victim, a 64 year old man, was hospitalized and he remains in critical but stable condition.
The driver stopped and is cooperating with the investigation.

34th Street North is closed from 17-22 Avenue north for the investigation.
