Hurricane Michael isn't in the daily headlines anymore, but the folks in the panhandle are still dealing with the devastation it left behind.
Thursday, November 1, at 6 a.m., a group of 10 St. Petersburg Police Officers will be loading-up to head to Panama City. The planned departure is 6:30 a.m., from the city gas pumps at 1744 7th Avenue North. (Please note: they will not be leaving from the Police Department Headquarters.)
Our agency will be part of the next wave of help heading to the panhandle to continue the recovery effort. They will be working security details, traffic control, and whatever else is needed.
