The victims in Friday afternoon’s pedestrian crash at 18th Avenue S and 28th Street S are Alyisha Woods (12/17/2004) and Shirnice Johnson (12/27/2011).
Alyisha suffered minor injuries, but Shirnice remains in critical but stable condition.
As of now, the driver has not been charged. The investigation into the crash is ongoing.

Brief Description of Incident:
A silver 2000 Toyota Celica, driven by Jordan Davis (B/M, 09/02/1990) was eastbound on 18th Avenue South. Two juveniles (B/F, 13 years old and B/F, six years old) were crossing 18th Avenue South. It is unclear at this time, if both juveniles were struck with the vehicle; however, the six-year-old was struck by the vehicle and has life threatening injuries. The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with the investigation. The investigation is still on going at this time.

The St. Petersburg Police Department is on the scene of a crash involving two children in the 2700 block of 18th Avenue S. Both children were transported to the hospital. As of now, their injuries are unknown. The driver stopped and is cooperating with investigators.
18th Ave S between 27th and 28th Streets is closed.
